Although the day started out looking like rain, like the troopers we are we headed up to Avonmore Berry Farm in faith knowing it would all work out and it did! Although we only saw the sun peek out from time to time the the rain stayed away and the temperature was warm and breezy perfect for painting.
Malgré l’apparence de pluie, notre équipe se rend à la ferme “Avonmore Berry Farm” dans l’espoir que la température s’améliore.
Le soleil s’est fait rare, la pluie s’est tenue loin et la brise durant la journée chaude et humide a fait de cette randonnée une journée parfaite pour le plein air. Nous n’avons même pas ressenti le tremblement de terre !
The family that runs the farm were amazing and went out of their way to make us welcome and yes the Biscuits are fantastic, the jam to die for and the strawberries were juicy and sweet.
La famille hôte nous a reçu à bras ouverts. Leurs biscuits roulés, leurs confitures maison, sans oublier les fraises cueillies le matin même, étaient un vrai délice.
